I paint the hour when the sky forgets whether it is ending or beginning. Most of my work starts as a colour and a feeling, and slowly finds its shape.

Light, colour, anatomy, architecture, whatever the piece needs to be true.

Anees Rehman
I’m self-taught. By day I’m a software engineer; the rest of the time I make images.
I’m drawn to symbols, architecture and the kind of questions that don’t have clean answers. Most of what’s here began as a feeling I couldn’t explain, and making the picture was how I found out what it was.
